The Story Behind

I created this piece because I wanted to be able to take my little meditation space with me — wherever I go.

Especially when I travel, my routines don’t always happen in the quiet, familiar space I have at home. Sometimes I meditate on a plane, on a train or simply somewhere surrounded by other people.

And I realized I wanted something I could disappear into for a little while.

Something oversized, soft and incredibly comfortable. A hood I could pull up. And a meditation mask already built in — so I wouldn’t have to unpack a separate mask or feel like I was preparing for some big ritual every time I wanted to close my eyes.

I could simply pull down the mask and be in my own little world.

That’s how this No Excuses piece became more than a reminder.

It became my little cocoon.

A piece I can travel in, curl up in, meditate in — and take a little bit of my own space with me wherever I go.

Because sometimes creating space for yourself doesn’t mean finding the perfect place.

Sometimes it means bringing it with you. 🤍
