Dr. Joe —
A Part of My Story

I had known about Dr. Joe’s work for quite some time.

Years ago, I even started meditating with his work.

Here and there. On and off. Never really consistently.

I understood that there was something in it. Something powerful. But apparently, life was still comfortable enough for me not to sit down every day and truly **do the work**.

That changed.

Over the past two years, Dr. Joe and his work have carried me through more than I could ever put into words.

His meditations are different for me.

They reach me.
They motivate me.
They push me.
And sometimes, they confront me with the very things inside myself I would much rather not look at — but that are quietly waiting to be seen.

They have made me sit with myself when I wanted to run.
They have helped me move through grief, fear, old patterns and emotions I thought I already understood.

And somewhere along the way, something started to change. Not overnight. Not in one big, dramatic moment.
But meditation by meditation.

Morning by morning.

Choice by choice.

I began to understand what it means to become conscious of who I am being — and that I don't have to keep being the person my past taught me to be.

Today, I am on the most beautiful journey.

A journey I could never have imagined for myself when I first pressed play on one of his meditations all those years ago.

There is still so much I am learning.

So much I am discovering.

And definitely still so much work to do.

But I know that I would not be standing where I am today without these past two years and without Dr. Joe’s work being such a huge part of them.

And in many ways, **The Love Weekends grew out of that journey too.**

Out of becoming more conscious.

Out of choosing differently.

Out of learning to open my heart again and again.

Out of wanting to create something from that place — and give something back.

So this little corner of The Love Weekends simply had to exist.

To say thank you.

For the meditations.
For the uncomfortable moments.
For the beautiful ones.
For the mornings I didn't want to get up and did it anyway.
For everything I have already found — and everything I am still finding.
Thank you, Dr. Joe

for carrying such a big part of these past two years. I have no idea where this journey will take me.

But I know I am very grateful to be on it.
